The kids 'n trucks Foundation is made up of the employees and friends of Land Air Express who donate their time and resources to making a difference.
In 1999, an employee came up with the idea of putting kids artwork on our trailers. We formed a committee of employees to work on this fun project. When they heard of our program some of our customers and vendors volunteered to help.
Through the enthusiastic support of this program we realized we were on to something big! To enable Land Air Express to give back to the communities we live and work in, we decided to start the kids 'n trucks Foundation.
We want Land Air Express to be a different kind of place to work. There's more to this company than making money and delivering freight. The caring family atmosphere is the driving force behind the success of this program.
We will be reaching out to local schools and communities to lend a helping hand in the education of safety on the streets with our kids. If you have any suggestions for potential charities or events please let us know, your input is important to our success!
